I sat down on the couch, to stitch and watch TV... It thundered, and then snow, so much snow, so fast, so unexpected for this city of mine.
I had forgotten that the feeling of snow falling on my face is one of my favorite sensations. Memories of being chilled to the bone, exhausted from playing, to stubborn and enchanted to go inside, laying in a snow drift, feeling the tiny, icy kisses on my cheeks. I hope I do not forget it this time. The next day, this is what I found through my lens.
O, yay for snow in Charlotte. I lived in Chapel Hill, NC for one year and went to Charlotte twice. Lovely city, but I missed my Arizona mountains.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like quite a good snowfall too.

Get warm, after the bone freeze, Cat.

It was an amazing snow for down here... Wish only that I had taken some "action" shots while it was snowing buckets, though I am glad I took the time to open all the window blinds and just sat and watched.
